EXPEDITION

At Chairs Depot, we understand that what matters to our customers is the final price and the quality of the goods. We strive to process your order as quickly as possible and at the best cost. We use, for our shipments, the large reputable LTL carrier. This service is offered to you but is not obligatory. You can use your own transport companies, please mention it when ordering. Please note that under no circumstances, whether you use your carrier or one of our recommended carriers, Chairs Depot cannot be held responsible for breakage or missing items upon receipt of the goods after it has left our warehouses. The shipping charges calculated in the bids are estimates based on a standard service from our loading docks to your loading dock. No special service, such as delivery inside, unloading equipment required, or delivery by small truck, is added unless the customer indicates this when ordering. In the event that the customer has omitted to mention, additional fees will be charged. The delivery times posted on chaisedepot.com are estimates and may vary depending on the availability of the product and the final delivery address.

All orders, unless otherwise agreed, will be dispatched, within the time specified in this document, upon receipt of the 50% security deposit or the total payment of goods.

Chairs Depot disclaims any responsibility for delivery delays in the case of force majeure, such, and is not limited to: weather conditions, import delays, customs clearance, carrier errors.

The merchandise shipped by Chairs Depot undergoes several quality assurance inspections to ensure that you will receive exactly what you ordered without breaking. We understand that with the use of trucking companies, breakage and errors can occur from time to time. To ensure your complete satisfaction with the products received, please follow the following steps when receiving the goods.

Be personally present during the delivery. Inspect the goods for any breakage and / or omission. Breaks can be visible or hidden when the items are nested.

Make sure to take the time to check everything in the presence of the driver. If you notice a breakage or omission on the goods, please note it on the documents that the driver gives you. DO NOT sign documents until you have inspected all merchandise. If possible, take pictures and / or videos of the broken goods in the truck these will be useful when making the claim to the carrier. In the event that any breakage or omission on the order is noticed, it is the responsibility of the customer to accept or refuse the goods.

Please always keep the original packaging, the damaged goods will not be picked up if it is not in the original packaging.

Immediately inform a Chairs Depot representative of any nonconformity of the order by phone at 1-866-935-6145 or by email at info@chairsdepot.com and send a copy of the documents that the driver has given you. Everything must be done within 24 hours following receipt of the order. Otherwise, it will be impossible to respond to the claim for breakage or incomplete order.

It is the customer's responsibility to complete the claim and provide it to the carrier.

Chairs Depot will assist you to complete the claim request. The carrier will compensate you directly for breakages.

All orders, unless otherwise specified, are sent 3-5 business days after receipt of the 50% deposit or the total payment requested when ordering.

Some special orders are subject to longer delays, up to 14 weeks due to customs clearance and transportation. Please tell us if you need to receive your goods in a specific time. In most cases, Chairs Depot will be able to help you with your deliveries requesting a limited deadline.

The seller, Chairs Depot, undertakes to do everything possible to deliver all orders in one shipment. However, under conditions beyond the control of Chairs Depot, some orders could be sent in multiple shipments. The delivery time does not release the customer from the acceptance and payment in full of the order as stipulated on the invoice.

CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY

It is possible to cancel a no-cost order before it is assembled and ready for shipment. In the event that the order has left our warehouses or is already ready for shipment, a 25% charge for re-storage will be charged to the customer. In addition, all transportation costs, round trip will be charged to the customer. The customer is responsible for providing suitable packaging on pallets compliant for LTL Road transport at his own expense. We ask you to pack the goods in their respective original packaging. In the event that Chairs Depot shipped the wrong product in error, it is the customer's responsibility to return it properly packaged in its original packaging. If, during the return of goods, it was damaged, the customer will be charged for the item (s) damaged at the price specified on the invoice.

The cost of transportation for the return of the goods as well as the costs of re-storage will be deducted from your refund.

In the case of custom goods and special orders requiring special import for this order no refund is possible due to the specificity of the products based on your plans and choice of materials.

COLOUR / TEXTURE WARNING

The color and textures / patterns apparent on the merchandise may appear differently depending on the specific adjustments to each computer and / or web browser. Some textures and patterns may not be displayed correctly on images due to restricted display or other factors beyond the control of Chairs Depot. Chairs Depot not responsible for any differences between the goods physically received and the interpretation of the color / texture / pattern by the customer.

The price and availability of merchandise is subject to change without notice. Chairs Depot is not responsible for typographical errors that can be found on the pages of the website www.chaisedepot.com. When dealing with Chairs Depot when ordering merchandise, the customer accepts intrinsically and to full terms and conditions of use present in this document. 

GUARANTEE

Chairs Depot offers a one (1) year limited warranty on all products purchased. The warranty covers any manufacturing defects by the manufacturer. Chairs Depot cannot be held responsible for spots on the equipment, scratches on the frame and any breakage or damage caused by regular and diligent use of goods. Chairs Depot is committed to ship quality products without manufacturing defect and in new condition. If the goods were defective, Chairs Depot undertakes to replace or refund the defective item (s) following the sending of visual evidence. Chairs Depot, its employees and officers disclaim any legal responsibility for injury, or death caused in whole or in part by the use, assembly, storage and handling of the products sold.

LEGISLATION

This declaration is drawn up and governed by the laws and regulations in force in the province of Quebec. Any dispute will be handled in the appropriate courts of the Province of Quebec. The Service is operated from Montreal. By using the Service, you agree that any legal matter relating to your use of the Chairs Depot Website and the General Terms and Conditions of Use shall be interpreted under the laws in force in Quebec and applicable in Canada when applicable. The courts of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, have exclusive jurisdiction to rule on any difference between the parties.
